Coming to a theater near you! Join us for an action-packed, inspirational evening on this five-city tour.
Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. BMWF is bringing the tour to five different cities around the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex to celebrate the power of wild places and gear up for another terrific summer in the backcountry!
Join us for an evening of short films from around the world full of breathtaking scenery and indomitable spirit that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
Plus, grab your raffle tickets for a phenomenal selection of outdoor gear, adventure trips, and handcrafted goods in the lobby! All proceeds will benefit our trail maintenance and habitat restoration projects in The Bob.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM for refreshments and mingling in the lobby. Stop by the Bob Booth to pick up merch and learn more about our 2025 Volunteer Adventures, and grab your raffle tickets to win big! The films will start at 7:00 PM.

Note from BMWF staff: Unfortunately, due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions (and maybe some Friday the 13th vibes?) BMWF staff will not be joining you for tonight’s show at the Roxy Theatre in Choteau. Fear not, the show goes on, albeit with some relatively minor adjustments:
We won’t be able to offer beer/wine for sale at the venue, but our friends at the Wagon Wheel have offered to do a pint night for us if you’d like a pre-show drink
We won’t be able to offer BMWF merchandise for sale (you can always shop at bmwf.org/shop!)
We won’t have printed programs available; please see an electronic version here.
Our intrepid local board member, Keegan Rumsey, and a passel of hearty volunteers are due immeasurable THANKS for their willingness to pull this event off without the support of staff. We know you’ll be in good hands tonight and we hope you love the show.
We expect you’ll find ample warmth, community, and entertainment inside the venue tonight, and we are disheartened to miss the gathering of friends whom we know care so deeply for the continued stewardship of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex.
Thank you so much for coming tonight. We look forward to connecting with you all again soon!
