Voices of the Wilderness 2021: Artist Wilderness Connection
Voices of the Wilderness 2021 concludes with a conversation with three of the artists from our Artist Wilderness Connection program that places artists in remote Forest Service cabins for one- to two-week stays each summer.
Michael Garrigan is an angler, writer and teacher from Pennsylvania who spent two weeks at Spruce Park cabin in 2021. James Weikert is an landscape oil painter and architectural designer living in Bozeman who enjoyed two weeks at Granite cabin in 2021 as well. Eden Hall is a bronze sculptural artist based in Colorado who spent two weeks at Spruce Park cabin in 2019. The discussion is led by BMWF Board Member and poet Corrie Williamson.
Artist-Wilderness Connection is a collaborative program between the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, Flathead National Forest, Hockaday Museum of Art and Swan Valley Connections.
