Each year we’re lucky to partner with a number of outstanding businesses who are dedicated to giving back to their community. Our Business Partners support our work year-round by providing essential general operations funding that we can use wherever we need it the most. By investing in our work, these businesses help us connect youth and adults with hands-on wilderness experiences that foster a love of wild places and help protect The Bob for generations to come.

We’re grateful to have businesses of all sizes supporting Active Wilderness Stewardship in the Bob! See our different sponsorship levels and benefits below.

Business Partner Spotlights

Bedrock loves the Bob. We take pride in making footwear we actually use and play hard in. One of those special spots for play is the Bob, with endless miles for sandal-hiking and crisp water to splash around in – hopefully on a multiple-day packraft mission.
— Dan Opalacz and Nick Pence, Owners | Bedrock Sandals, Missoula

Whitefish Credit Union is proud to support BMWF in providing opportunities for active Wilderness stewardship in the Crown of the Continent. As Montanans, we know how valuable the 1.6-million-acre Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex is to our fish and wildlife species, our water and air quality, our outdoor recreation economy, and our cultural heritage. By supporting BMWF, we engender advocates for wild places and expand the community of Wilderness stewards.
— Jim Kenyon, President and CFO | Whitefish Credit Union

The wilderness has been salvation for me throughout my life, a spiritual place where I have repeatedly returned to put life into proper perspective and help me work with chronic mild depression and anxiety. My first trip in to the Bob was a three day loop from Bear Creek on the Middle Fork 30 years ago. Since then I have backpacked hundreds of miles in the Bob including several volunteer trail maintenance trips. It is now time for me to give back to the wilderness trails and places that have been so important to me through supporting the BMWF.
— Jeff Wongstrom, Owner | Thirsty Lake Solar, Bozeman
