BMWF’s Board is responsible for the oversight and governance of our 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This is an important way you can help shape the future of the foundation, and give back to wilderness by sustaining our boots-on-the-ground programs in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex.
As an organization we have made a commitment to filling our community, our board and our staff with new voices, wide-ranging ideas and a wealth of different perspectives. All Board of Directors positions are unpaid, volunteer positions
Board member positions require a time commitment of 4-8 hours per month
A three-year commitment is expected to allow you to gain enough knowledge and experience to meaningfully contribute to the organization.
Virtual participation is possible, so it is not necessary to live in NW Montana to become a board member
