PACK SUPPORT
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation relies heavily on volunteer pack support to make our trail projects possible. All backcountry projects will have stock (horses and mules) to haul in group gear unless otherwise noted.
Each packer has up to four head of stock to haul in group gear such as food, tools, and kitchen equipment. Volunteers will be required to carry all personal gear. If there is additional room on the animals, packers may offer to carry tents or sleeping bags to lighten your pack.
Be sure to say thank you to the packers and their critters! They are volunteer too!
